This is a feature packed high definition video camera. You will be surprised with what you get for your money. The camera it shelf shoots 1080i or 720p as well as standard definition video which is useful if you want to save on computer processing power and/or memory space. The quality of the video is generally good in high definition mode with some sharp and clear images when shooting in light condition but it does suffer from grain and compression artefacts in lower light conditions.
