A 10x Optical Zoom Lens (38mm to 380mm on a 35mm camera) and a 10x digital-zoom keep you close up on the action.

The HD2 features a SANYO high capacity rechargeable Lithium-ion battery is included for a long 60 minutes of recording time. The SANYO Xacti HD2 features a digital image stabilization that works across the full shooting range from wide-angle to telephoto. Using an original corrective algorithm developed by SANYO, the HD2 is able to distinguish between "trembling hands" and "camera work" such as panning and tilting.
