Sony Handycam DCR-PC110

In 2002, one of 2 things is going to happen to me; either I become a father or I go on an expensive holiday with my wife. Whatever happens I wanted a camcorder to capture the memories. After doing a great deal of research I plumped for Sony's DCR-PC110E, a mini-DV camcorder packed full of features for both the amateur and keen hobbyist alike. It would be a good idea to read this review if you have ever considered buying a camcorder. The Sony pc110 is a high specification mini digital camcorder( images can be manipulated on your home pc) which I have found to be an excellent product. It has a 40x digital zoom; both in and output terminals for pc linkup; can take still images; carl zeiss t lens; usb connection; automatic pop up flash and a built in video mail mode. This is the second 1 mega pixel camcorder from sony. The PC110E is a very small, light and compact camcorder and has a solid feel about it. It is held by the palm strap attaching to a small plastic pistol grip. This arrangement takes some getting used to and, to ensure steady shooting, its often necessary to use your left hand for added support. There is also a, Carl Zeiss lens which is much easier to use than the menu selector on other cameras.
