My parents bought my husband and I this camcorder for Christmas 2007 as we were expecting a baby and we thought it would be lovely to be able to record him. It cost just over £200 and came well wrapped in bubble wrap and a box. The camera is designed to be compact and has a 40 x optical zoom. It also has an LCD touch screen. The battery can last up to 9 hours and has an "easy to use" function. It is quite small, can virtually fit in the palm of your hand and takes mini dvd disks to store the recording on to.
