Sony DCR-TRV530 Digital 8 Handycam camcorder, utilizing Stamina technology, records up to 10 hours, using the viewfinder, with the optional InfoLithium M-series battery. Intelligent accessory shoe provides operational commands to Sony Intelligent Accessories via an 8-pin interface. This enables easy synchronized operation between the Handycam camcorder and such accessories as video lights, infrared lights, and microphones. Super LaserLink wireless transmission system allows user to transmit signal via infrared from the camcorder to optional IFT-R20 LaserLink receiver at a distance of up to 26 feet (8 m) for true worry-free playback. DCR-TRV530 features also USB and i.LINK (IEEE 1394) DV interfaces. DCR-TRV530's for American and European markets differ in shutter speed interval (1/4-1/4000 vs 1/3-1/4000), and CCD resolution (460,000 vs 800,000 pixels gross, 290,000 vs 400,000 actual).
