honest they have been widescreen for a number of years now so why manufactures have waited so long to release a camcorder with a widescreen mode is beyond me. It would be a good idea to read this review if you have ever considered buying a camcorder. The Sony pc110 is a high specification mini digital camcorder( images can be manipulated on your home pc) which I have found to be an excellent product.
