Sony Handycam CCD-TRV238EThe 20X optical zoom on the CCD-TRV238 ensures a clear, high quality picture throughout zooming to the subject. It takes a 37mm filter and can thus deliver better performance. The camcorder also features a 990x digital zoom facility. Sony's STAMINA technology makes sure you have a worry free long recording time on the camcorders. They are powered by "infoLITHIUM" battery that can provide continuous recording, rechargeable via a supplied AC adaptor. A Battery Info button displays available recording times and remaining charge level on the LCD display when activated. This function is accessible anytime when the camcorder is turned off. Ease of use is of prime concern for this model. Situated handily on the frame of the LCD monitor is a Start and Stop Record button and the secondary Zoom button for quick access when viewing the subject on the display or for during difficult shooting situations, even when you are holding the camera above your head. Another enhancement is the Easy Handycam menu. With one-button access, this function locks out the more advanced features of the menu, giving the user a quick and easy selection of basic camera operation and recording settings to choose from. These are displayed on the LCD screen in large, easy to read characters. Low-level light recording technology is incorporated in the form of Night Shot Plus, which can record in more natural color in low-light environments. |
