THis camcorder is great, having bought it for a quck film for friends work, it has never failed. It has great picture quality, and an added bonus is that the zoom is optical to 40 times. I recieved this as a chirstmas present, and was very excited as I had wanted one for ages to take travelling with me. So christmas dat, everyone is piled into my house, drinks flowing, get the camera out. It was very easy to set up and use and the picture quality was fantastic and was the sound when we played it back, very light, compact, perfect. Until the next day when I was trying to play back the previous days antics, and it just would not let me, the screen just styaed blue with yellow "Error" writing in the middle.
