Advantages: comprehensive and reliable

Disadvantages: slow(ish) to operate, limited record time (disc)

Its been completely reliable over three years. Colour and steady shot good good good. Many functions adjustable via touch screen ( which takes some getting used to). I like the two cm minimum focus distance, and have copied hundreds of transparencies. The 30 minute sp per disc is a bit crappy but you can edit and delete on camera. Eye compensation on viewfinder is excellent, as is the 5.1 sound. I like the choice of batteries and the accurate 'remaining time' indication. I DONT like the intrusive exhortation to "use Sony discs" each time you switch on.
Its not a fast camera to use, but very comprehensive
