Advantages: Super Small, Easy to use, MASSIVE Recording capabilities

Disadvantages: Maybe too small for some!

Me and the wife have been looking for a Hard Disk camcorder for ages. We decided on this one for the following reasons:

1.) It is VERY small. It maybe too small for some, but we wanted something small and compact that we could easily carry around with us on holiday etc....It has an adjustable strap to accomodate even the largest of hands, so it is practical for all users.
2.) Great Optical zom lens. The picture is great and crisp, with a really powerful zoom, so you can get all the detail in. We are/will use it mainly for family stuff and our kids, so we just love the great zoom capabilities!
3.)WHOOOOPPPPING 40GB Hard Disk Drive. This can give you upto 27 hours of video on a high resolution setting.
4.)Ease of use. We tend to be prettty digital nowerdays, and this camcorder is great for that. You get some really easy to use software which when you connect the camcorder to your PC can easily transfer your video, edit it, and even become a film maker!!
5.)It's a Sony. Iv'e had lots of Sony products, and have to say, they are hard to beat! Great little camcorder!
6.)Easy to use menus. It has a touchscreen viewer, very easy to use, and just a dream when filming!

Overall, very pleased with this camcorder, I bought mine from Dixons in the sales, so got it for a snip.

PS The battery is pretty good too. Lasts about 4hrs in between charges!
