I purchased one of these beauties for use at work, since then itr has found it's way home and gets used for all sorts. I was unsure of whether to go for a hard drive camcorder or stick to tapes but I found this available for a shade under £260 and decided to go for it. I think it was a great choice, this camera is so user friendly. The manual that comes with it is comprehensive and has always answered any little issues I have found. Battery life is about 90 mins of recording time which I think is pretty decent.
