Advantages: handy quality low money and streamlined little camcorder

Disadvantages: not great battery life a little blocky

The H10 is Toshiba's budget entry HD camcorder and value for money. I fount the price of £170 for a HD camcorder to be extremley reasonable as not long ago the price was much higher. The H10 has a streamlined design without too many of those pointless buttons to confusedly push without very much happening.
It has quite a blocky shape but is quite small and compact and fits nice in the hand when operating. It feels quite heavy but this isnt a bad thing as it feels sturdy and not worryingly flimsy.

It can record video in 720p HD MPEG-4 format video on SD or SDHC Cards at frame rates of up to 30fps and has a 5x optical zoom. These are very good for such a low price HD camcorder and it has the feel of a product that will last for a while.
I have not had any unusual hitches when operating it and the picture quality has been superb.
It is a highly useful little gadget that i have no regrets in purchacing. The battery power is not the best but lasts for an acceptable amount of time.
A worthwhile purchace and excellent value for HD.
