Canon Powershot S3 IS ... and is easy to use. However my one attempt at taking a moving shots resulted in the whole of my memory card being used up in about 5 minutes! As I have a camcorder I do not find this mode very useful. But it is good to know that if you do use it you can take a quality still picture whilst taking your movie. The camera has a superb x 12 zoom lens. I have taken some really clear pictures with the zoom although at full zoom the pictures begin to look a bit blurred. There is a self portrait mode that can be set to give different lengths of time delay. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H5/S ... have owned this camera for about 6 months now and have been extremely pleased with its performance as far as photographic quality goes. It is very slow on the shot to shot speeds and its high speed mode is slightly better than useless. If you can forgive it for those misgivings and just concentrate on taking 1st class images then you will love it. If you are into action photography then my advice would be to leave well alone.Its very large screen is most useful for composing shots and I believe it to be very clear indeed,some would not agree with me on that. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7EG-S ... have 3 DSLR (Fujifilm S1 Pro, S2 Pro & S3 Pro), whilst they serve me well, and helped me make tons of money, I ve always wanted a compact camera that is small and light enough to carry with me everyday. Lugging either one of the Fujifilm Pro series camera would be a nightmare and less fun. The Lumix FZ series caught my attention about a year ago with its handsome and solid design, back then it only offers 5 megapixel, whilst it recieved rave reviews then, it did not give me a strong enough reason to pick one up. However, the latest FZ7 have since made some small but significant improvements, like moving up to 6 mega pixels together with some light nip and tucks here...
