... have only just bought my nikon d60 and what an amazing camera it is. The 10megapixels really do help so much when you are enlarging your shots. Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z700 ... Casio Exilim EX-Z700 is a nice compact camera and as easy to use as is really possible. It is also takes excellent quality pictures. I have had this camera for a couple of years and the 7.2 megapixel images are about as good as it is necessary to take; much more and your printer may not illustrate in that much detail, yet you use more memory. I have regularly had pictures blown up to about 12x10" without loss of quality. The video and sound recording quality are also satisfactory, however maybe not good enough for a dedicated video camera. Olympus FE-100 ... previously owned a big Panasonic brick digital camera and when that gave up I got this camera. I was given it as a present, so it was great value for money, but I think at the time it cost £100. I have had it for a couple of years so I am sure there are many more modern and smaller cameras - and to be honest I might end up ditching this one to get one of thise smaller, better cameras! There is not a huge amount wrong with this camera. It takes good photos in every kind of weather and the quality of print is definitely sufficient for the kind of photos I want, which are just normal every day ones, nothing professional! Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 ... do you start to describe this camera. Well I guess the lens is as good as place as any. The high quality Leica lens is the main reason you ll want to buy this camera. The optics are highly regarded in professional reviews which consistently rate the FZ18 head and shoulders above it s competitors. It has an outstanding focal range which is the equivalent to a 28-504mm zoom on a 35mm camera. There is inbuilt image stabilization to help cope with this huge zoom which works very well... but obviously it can t perform miracles so you will still get blurred images if shooting handheld shots at 18X in low light levels.
