Casio QV-R40 ... Casio QV-R40 is a bundle full of surprises and you honestly counldn't ask for a better camera at such a good price. This doesn't mean however that Casio have made it out of a cheap plastic, far from it, the camera is made of a metal body and feels very sturdy and of high quality. The resoultion of the camera is just over 4million pixels which is great for those bigger pictures and doesn't take up too much file space on you memory cards. The camera has a built in 10Mb card which is not enough but you can add another SD card in the slot provided. The lens is of good quality and is the standard 3x optical and 3.2x digital. The camera is of a perfect weight a... Read the full review: A great camera for first time buyer and professional alike! by auzziedave |

Kodak Easyshare DX6340 ... have had this Camera for about a year now and it is the first digital camera that I have owned. The decision to go digital was purely a financial one. I was planning a trip around Europe and I didn't want the expense of having to develop all the rolls of film I was planning to use. In my opinion this camera is around about the perfect size. Not too small that you are fumbling to use it properly nor too big that you can't carry it around with you comfortably. It ... Pentax Optio S ... bought my Optio S about a month ago, upgrading from a tiny Sony Cybershot U. I ve taken it on holiday and taken all kinds of pictures, from pretty landscapes to drunken-night-out close ups. This camera really does suit my needs perfectly, and I imagine it would suit the needs of most other people too! The 3MP resolution is more than adequate for generating quality 6x4 images (I get my pics developed at Jessops - very convenient service) and the camera has works well in all kinds of conditions. This camera pretty much addresses all the criticisms I had of my old Cybershot camera: No zoom - this camera has a 3x optical zoom, which works great. Short battery life...
