Praktica DCZ 6.3 ... bought this camera about a year and a half ago for £80. I couldn t find any reviews online for this, but foolishly went ahead and bought it (this is why I m writing a review - although not widely available anymore they may end up on ebay etc second hand). I personally would not inflict this camera on anybody. As soon as you hold it in your hands you notice it is of poor quality - feels cheap, plastic-y and hollow. It s lightweight but bulky at the same time. The picture quality is appalling and can t be adjusted. Photos look grey and lifeless - particularly when you use the flash (which you need to unless you are in bright daylight). Everyone in your photos looks anae... Toshiba PDR-M71 ... t really go greatly into the above "Body" portion because frankly, there isn t a lot to go into. It s black, it s bulky, its boring. The LENS on the other hand, is anything BUT. I m not a lens afficianado, not even close. Actually, when I got this camera I remember asking my dad; " Ok so what the heck does a uhhmm.. 2.8X 32-98mm F2.9 Lens mean? Is that good?" My dad replies with a few eye squints and blinks then says; "Yeah that s good. The F2.9 means bla bla bla and more bla bla bla" He pretty much explained to me WHY all those numbers and letters were good, but over the years i ve developed a super secret power. Olympus FE-100 ... previously owned a big Panasonic brick digital camera and when that gave up I got this camera. I was given it as a present, so it was great value for money, but I think at the time it cost £100. I have had it for a couple of years so I am sure there are many more modern and smaller cameras - and to be honest I might end up ditching this one to get one of thise smaller, better cameras! There is not a huge amount wrong with this camera. It takes good photos in every kind of weather and the quality of print is definitely sufficient for the kind of photos I want, which are just normal every day ones, nothing professional!
