After searching for cameras for a while I decided that I wanted to spend money on image quality rather than other smart features. After first considering the Sony DSCP92 with 5 million pixels and the Kodak DX4...

deets Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P92
... I wont beat about the bush, this is a very high quality camera, probably too high quality for most of us, well I know it is for me. But heck, the dollar exchange rate was just too good ;) Anyway, I could reel off stats etc. but they can be found on most websites, ill try and keep it simple. (http://digitalcameras.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/ps_318188/124901.html) Anyway, ill get onto the camera itself. Well it?s a 5 megapixel camera so have 5 million effective pixels, basically it can take very high resolution images (2592x1944). Its has 3x optical zoom for closing in on your subject, which isnt that much, but is handy enough. You can either look through the standard view fi...

rich_lufc Kodak CX4330 Zoom
... received the Kodak EasyShare DX4530 for Christmas 2003. I was very pleased with the item for the following reasons: Picture Quality - The quality of the pictures is amazing! This means I have no need to throw money at extra memory! 3x Optical Zoom - The optical zoom is great! You get superb quality pictures from the lowest...

loopytiger Olympus µ[MJU:] 300 Digital
... bought this camera about six months ago and am really pleased with it. The image quality is amazing compared to other digital cameras I've used in the same price range. It has all the features an amateur user would want, I think: you can view back the pics you've taken, either one at a time or tiled on the view screen; you can turn them sepia or b&w; and there's an easy to use zoom. It's a small, lightweight and stylish looking camera. Best of all, it has a remote control, which I've found very useful for taking photos of myself modelling clothes to sell on ebay! There are two drawbacks to the design, though. To open the flap to plug it into ...
