Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P7:
... have the screen on the battery time will be much less. The Memory Stick is Sony's very own media - which essentially means that it is very expensive. You'll want to buy a decent size stick, as the one that comes with is only 128MB, a respectable size but in reality you'll need a much bigger stick - 2GB of storage will cater hundreds of high-resolution snaps. These days you can pick up such a stick for the bargain ... Read the full review: A review of the Sony Cybershot by Hadouken |

Kodak Easyshare CX 7330 ... didn't like xD cards. This camera is a very simple & straight forward camera to use. The body is really plasticky & the Power/ mode dial above the camera is very stiff to turn. However, on the brighter side, since it is also the Power Switch, it can accidentally be turned on. Getting the camera ready for action really takes a while as needs to charge up the flash. This camera really sucks batteries, so you better have a spare pair of AAs handy. One should be careful not to drop it. My friend drop it and caused the battery compartment latch to break off. I sought a 3rd party repairman to modify the cover and I'm back in action. Overall, pictures taken are crisp &... Read the full review: A camera suitable for casual users by clyjem |

Ricoh Caplio RX ... difference is the Power button relocated to the back of the camera. This makes it easier to locate. However, if you use the soft pouch supplied by Ricoh and place it in your pocket, there is high chance the Power button can get depressed when you squat down. The lens extends out in the pouch whie still in your pocket. The solution: I always set the Mode Dial to PLAYBACK before sliding it to the pouch. Close-up pictures are very good. IClose-up lover will appreciate the Close-Up AF Target Selection Function, where you can shift the focusing pointer off-center. Noise level has also improved over the G4s. Other functions retained from the G4 are the Voice Recording & L... Read the full review: Improved & slimmed down G4 by clyjem |

Ricoh Caplio G4 ... to start with. The G4 models are considered very bulky by currents standards but the design of the grip is still comfortable for one hand operation. Many people have problem looking for the power button as it is overshadowed by the mode dial. Startup is a bit slow when you have the Flash mode on as the flash charges up, typical wait it around 4-5 seconds. However, the flash is quite weak for indoor shots. Close up up to 1 cm is a selling point for this camera. One feature that Ricoh beats the rest of the camera in the market is the capabilty to use both Lithium Ion battery or AA batteries. So, you'll never worry about having a flat Lithium-Ion. Infact, the Lithium-Io... Read the full review: A very handy & durable camera by clyjem |
