Olympus Camedia C 350 Zoom ... had this model as my first digital camera, mainly for the ease of AA batteries, i make sure i have a spare set of rechargeable ones as this camera can drain the batteries pretty fast, but then most of them do. The front cover slides therefore protects the lens, a good thing and keeps it dust free. First ime can be little diffucult to suss out, but once you figure out the buttons you are well away. Has a zoom feature too, nice little compact camera. Picture quality is superb and the colour pretty spot on too. Instuctions are daunting there s that many of them. I have lost my driver disc but can still transfer pictures to my computer. For first choice i made a go... Read the full review: Olumpus camedia by 247even |

Canon Powershot A70 ... good choice for any beginner. I bought this camera for my techno project amny years ago. I was rather surprised because of the crisp colours and the clear images produced. Although it had only 3.2mp, that was enough for a crisp picture, with lots of other details. I never thought much about the controls as I was just into digital camera at that time. Although some of my pictures were either over-exposed and under-exposed, I still had fun using it everywhere I went. The size which was smaller than an SLR made it able to be carried everywhere. Nobody even felt threatened when I was taking pictures, they thought I was doing that because I was tourist! It is still a plea... Read the full review: Good Camera! by fren12 |

Fujifilm Finepix A210 ... camera, although 3.2. MP, is awful, simply because it looks appalling, is slow when operating and uses up batteries like there s no tomorrow. I have had this camera for 3 years now and have recently bought a new one because of my problems with it, my mum, to whom i have given the camera to, also agrees. The time taken to process between shots is ridiculous, you take a photo and almost a minute later, you are able to take another shot. I feel this time between shots problem is outdated and the more modern, new cameras achieve a much faster in-between-shot time. I would strongly advise you to not purchase this camera, and to ignore all other reviews, unless forced t... Read the full review: Big, Bulky, Banish it! by pip104 |
