Canon Digital Ixus II ... ve had one of these for about 5 years now. I wanted something small enough to put in my pocket and have the best available picture quality at the time. Which made this a best buy as they still do with most Canon compacts, so I decided this was the Camera for me. I love the metal body...its tough...I ve dropped this loads and it still works perfectly. Image qualty is brilliant, its only 4MB but its the lenses that really count on compact cameras and this one is a peach! My Dad has a Canon Ixus with 8MB but I honestly think my old 70 takes a sharper image! The zoom range is good. Olympus Camedia C-160 ... received this camera a few years ago- it was a fairly good camera then and it still is. For a camera with 3.2 megapixels, the quality of photo is quite impressive. I have received compliments on the clarity of my pictures using this camera. I do not see a big difference between the pictures I can take with this as opposed to one with even 7 megapixels. It is a good, portable size, and offers a fair amount of basic features, such as macro close-ups, 2.5x zoom, night mode, short videos, and photo editing. My only complaints would be that the zoom can be a little blurry on the higher settings, and that- depending on the size of the picture card you use- the video setting ... Canon Powershot A75 ... ordered this camera for my company s general use. I pick this unit after going through several models and narrowed down to the A75. Body Design: I like the solid hand grip. One can actually operate it with just one hand. The zoom lever accessed by the fore finger makes it very convenient. The use of 4x AA batteries houses under the grip. Functions: With modes from Program, shutter Priority & aperture priority to fully manual make it very flexible and able to take control of the camera quickly.
