It appeals to the passionate photographer as it has a leica lens therefore great image capture.
The 12x optical zoom is great but ive not tried the digital zoom as yet.
It has captured great photos at night on both the night setting and also when i turned the setting off.

Nikon Coolpix 4100 ... my next camera from them quite happily. When looking to buy a new camera i would make sure I try as many different brands as possible and I urge you to try out a Nikon before purchasing any. I was not disappointed in anyway with my purchase. But all said and done, I still do prefer the old, traditional cameras with the printouts. With all Digital Camera a decent printer has to be bought and the old film method with Kodak etc worked perfectly. Canon Powershot A430 ... one is a red camera and taking the pictures. The other options are for movies, panorama and linking it to the TV. You can also set it to manual mode so you can adjust white balance, the speed of the shutter, etc but I think if you want to do that, get a better camera than this. ...Flash and Zoom... The built in flash is meant to have a range of 3 metres but if you use the zoom lens, the range goes down to 2. The flash modes available on the menu are Auto, on or off. Kodak Easyshare C330 ... problems. At this point, a number of photo files suddenly became inaccesible, and there are still about 200 or so photos that we cannot access. Only a few were actually taken on the Kodak camera (most being scans of real photos that we had for years), and even after employing a PC engineer to try and retrieve them, we have had no joy. The engineer said he had seen similar problems with Kodak software before. I contacted Kodak again, and they said it wasn't their problem and that the PC must be an old model or the processor out of date - our PC is only 6 months old - they refused to offer any other help.
