Olympus µ[MJU:] Mini Digital:
... Olympus 4.0 megapixel Mini mju digital camera is something to admire. I ve have previously owned two other digital cameras and neither of them were quite as impressive. The graphics were terrible, the memory was disappointing and they didn t look to stylish either. So how does it look? =============== The mini mju is small, sleek (95 x 55.5 x 27.5mm) and available in a selection of colours, these are: Jewellery... Canon Digital Ixus 40 ... have always been at the forefront of the Point and Shoot digital camera market, and the Ixus 40 is another example of how to do this kind of thing just right. The camera it self is extremely small - it s shorter than an average mobile phone, although slightly wider and thicker. It s definitely small and light enough to sit comfortably in your trouser pocket all day (as mine often does!). The weight is just enough that you don t feel it will break the first time you drop it. As well as the basic job of taking pictures, you also get the usual additional features such as movies (in numerous formats), different types of settings for sports, lowlight, portrait etc, an... Canon Powershot A85 ... the magnification by another 3.6 times, but I ve never used this. Then there s the "macro" function I mentioned earlier, which will allow you to take clear pictures from as close a range as 5 centimeters! Of course, you *DO* get poor quality, fuzzy images from time to time, but you can delete these simply enough and try the shot over again until you get it right. I ve found that more and more I seem to be able to manage to get the i... Read the full review: What A Cracking Photo by kenjohn |

Fujifilm Finepix A340 ... bough the A340 off ebay for £45, complete with case, tripod, memory card and everything it came with as new - utter bargain! I was upgrading from a Polaroid Izone 300 (but that s another story :-/), and found the different settings easy to navigate and was soon snapping away like nobody s business. On a weeks holiday, the charge on my batteries lasted through 4 days of constant picture taking and I was very impressed. The quality of the pictures is great, being very sharp and a vast improvement on my old camera. I too have never veered from the default settings and also do not bother with the software, I merely copy the files to my pc and arrange them from there. T...
