Kodak Easyshare CX7530 ... purchased this camera a few years ago from eBuyer, at the time for what felt like the bargain price of just £100 including an AA battery charger and (huge!) 128 MB memory card. At the time I had many reviews, which seemed to be praising this camera, and focusing on it s small size, so upon receiving the package I was eager to try it out. Despite what I had read I felt that it was pretty large (compared to my expectations anyway), although still a good enough size to make operating it a comfortable experience. Fujifilm Finepix Z1 ... other half bought me this camera for my birthday, so I didn t actually choose i myself...he s a Canon SLR semi-pro, so I was quite surprised that he chose such a design-focused camera for me. Supposedly because he thought I l like something compact and neat and shiny and pretty, cos I m a girl with a small handbag - but I also trust his judgement on its functionality, and I think he made a really good call on this one. The slider lens cap function is fun and quite unique - my only concern is that it feels more liable to go wrong than a traditional lens cap/lens combo would. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W1 ... have had the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W1 for about just over 4 years and it has lasted very well. Admittedly the couple of months I have had a problem with the mode selector wheel on top of the camera playing up but it has lasted 4 years so I cant complain. I have taken some really great photos with this camera, it has few easy to use modes to use it different situations and also a manual mode if you want to tinker the settings. The video mode is pretty good although it struggles to catch up with the focussing sometimes. It has a large LCD screen which makes taking and reviewing photo very easy indeed.
