Nikon D40 ... is a great D-slr for those starting out in photography, as well as those who are a little more advanced. This was my first D-slr camera, and i still use it now at events and club nights when i don t want to take out my larger camera. This camera works well both under natural light and with use of its flash. It also has a flash gun attachment, so also produces successful results under the studio lighting. The only fault one can find for this camera, is the use of the view finder eye piece, rather than being able to use the screen to find the shot, as with most digital cameras. Nikon D40 ... Nikon D40 is the entry level SLR camera in the D range. I used this camera last year for an NVQ college course and it was great for me as a beginner. The controls are very straight-forward and easy to pick up. I ve used this camera at gigs and sporting events and it is very robust and durable. It s taken a few knocks and it still works fine. The camera is very compact and not huge like other DSLRs which I like as this makes it easier to use in crowded areas such as gigs. For the cheap price, this camera is a great introduction to the world of SLR digital photography. The quality of image this camera can produce is superb. Nikon D70 ... believe this camera was an excellent buy, i bought it 12 months ago when i first started my college course in photography and has served me very well for a first camera. it has a very easy to use design, which is easy to hold with the left hand while the right hand controls all the funstions. i especially like the little screen on top of the camera which allows you to see your settings, where as other camera s which i have used only have this within the view finder and it is not as easy to work. the only main problem i have had with this camera is that it does not allow you to change the image to either black and white, or greyscale, this is however in previous and late...
