Kodak Easyshare C613 ... got this as a christmas present a few years back now. And I love it! Many people have commented on the quality of my snaps once I have uploaded them onto my PC, and for a 6.2 MP camera, they definitly look a lot better and sharper. I like the self timer on it because its always nice to include everyone in the pic! Also, there are some effects on it such as Black & White, which can be quite good fun. To be honest; I dont film many videos but the odd one Ive done is fairly good quality. The cons I have found with this is that it sometimes doesnt turn on the first time, I have to press the button again; but I have never had a case for it so I put that down to general w... Nikon D40 ... is a great D-slr for those starting out in photography, as well as those who are a little more advanced. This was my first D-slr camera, and i still use it now at events and club nights when i don t want to take out my larger camera. This camera works well both under natural light and with use of its flash. It also has a flash gun attachment, so also produces successful results under the studio lighting. The only fault one can find for this camera, is the use of the view finder eye piece, rather than being able to use the screen to find the shot, as with most digital cameras. Nikon D40 ... Nikon D40 is the entry level SLR camera in the D range. I used this camera last year for an NVQ college course and it was great for me as a beginner. The controls are very straight-forward and easy to pick up. I ve used this camera at gigs and sporting events and it is very robust and durable. It s taken a few knocks and it still works fine. The camera is very compact and not huge like other DSLRs which I like as this makes it easier to use in crowded areas such as gigs. For the cheap price, this camera is a great introduction to the world of SLR digital photography. The quality of image this camera can produce is superb.
