... partner got this camera about 8 month ago and i like it so much i use it all the time. It looks very smart, slim and compact but not to small to hold so fits in your hand perfect, the viewing screen on the back is very large (2.7") and clear for taking photo s and reviewing your photo s afterwards so you can deleat the rubbish. Samsung ES55 ... sister bought me this camera for my Birthday, I m not sure how much she paid for it but she said it wasn t much for the quality of the actual camera. The camera s first test was when I took it to Vegas, I found that it took pictures in the dark (of the casino lights) extremely well as my sister struggled with hers coming out blurred. The menu touchpad can be a bit fiddly but easily navigated. I find that taking pictures when the flash is on very slow, although I very rarely turn it on as it takes a picture just as well without it on and the pictures seem to come out a little too bright with it on. Sony a (alpha) DSLR-A200K ... is my first DSLR and i love it .. I was unsure as to go with sony initially as Nikon and Cannon seem to be the leaders in the DSLR market. After purchasing the Sony i am glad i made the decision i did. The Sony A200 is the cheapest in the range and has just been replaced by the A230. The A200 is a well built camera which feeels sturdy and of high build quality as with most sony products. Features of the camera are high with anti shake built in and a mechanism that cleans the inside everytime you turn the camera off. Kodak Easyshare V1003 ... bought this camera around christmas 2008 because it was on offer for £99. For a 10MP camera, I thought this was quite good value for money. It comes in a variety of colours which is quite good, and I chose the black colour (boring I know!) As for the quality, I found that when you take a picture, sometimes there are multicoloured specs because it appears to be a too high quality for the monitor to handle, however, when you upload the pictures onto the computer this problem disappears but in my opinion, 10MP is too much and shows up all the little details on people s faces that some people may prefer to hide.
