Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W200/S:
... be annoying and it's not particulary that helpful. There is also the editing options which you can make several pictures from one with these options, for example fish eye which i think is suppose to make the picture look as if it's being seen by a fish, and the star burst edit option makes the picture have loads of stars in it.
The camera is a nice size, not to small to use but not too big and it's quite light too.... Read the full review: A very good sony camera by cbrewer1991 |

Canon Powershot G9 ... more to do with the LCD screen, which in most other circumstances is great! A point to remeber if you are deciding between SLR and this compact is that you CANT focus through the optical viewfinder. The camera has top- of the range build quality, it feels incredibly sturdy and tough, however the screen is rather annoyingly raised, so I dont think it will be long before that gets scratched (a screen protector may be useful) The average Image Quality IMO is the best you will get on any compact camera, not SLR quality however. There simply is no replacement for an SLR. But this is the best compromise!! Image noise can be a little tricky in anything over 200 ISO, but... Nikon D300 ... invaluable extra shutter button for portrait mode. Having quite small hands, I like having the ability to quickly switch to shooting portrait, without having to fumble for the standard button. The D300 feels sturdy to hold. I wouldn't advise dropping it ... but I did, and it survived without a scratch. The LCD display is 3" and 922,000 pixels (compared to the D200's 2.5" and 230,000 pixels) and this provides a really clear picture. ***Some Key Features*** The D300 is 12.3 mp (effective pixel) with a CMOS censor. It takes type I and II compact flash memory cards, which don't come with the camera. Battery life is affected by the elements and how often you ...
