Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W210 ... m no techo expert, however the camera does what I want it too and more. It is cute, handy, fits easily into luggage/bag/pocket and produces high quality pictures. I wouldn t use it for anything professional, however it pick up distances well and has clear cut, line defining pictures, with attention to detail. It also comes with some good functions and adequate space. I would recommend this camera as a starter. However, after only 3 months of having this camera a slight knock broke it so it can be tempremental. Definitely get insurance on this one. Kodak Easyshare Z1285 ... purchased the camera entirely for the easyshare feature. but after using it with all its features my views became very positive from this product. the camera is very compact for my taste, the screen is a decent size and the menu options are very straight forward to understand, all the added features like digital image stabilization(anti-wobble), red eye remover scene selector and action shot mode is great, even for an electronics novice. A camera with digital and optical zoom is always handy and for major zooms the stability was very encouraging.
