Samsung L310W ... was given this camera for my birthday and waht a great camera it is. I had a big Digital SLR camera before and wanted something more compact. It is light and has some great features like the face recognition and blink detection. It is so easy to use but still has the quality. Samsung seem to have excelled themselves this time. The rechargable Li-ion battery is great as so many cameras go through batteries like water. The downside is that the buttons are a little fiddly and if you have big fingers it can be a bit of a problem. The turn dial on the top is good but again it can be a bit fiddly. She absolutely loved it before the camera was even out of the box, impatient to see the red case. Cue hour upon hour of everyone on guard, waiting to be sneakily snapped and paraded on Facebook. She loves this camera, possibly more than poor old me! The exterior is perfection - a huge screen on the back, and quite honestly a quality build.
