Casio Exilim EX-Z77 ... husband bought me this for Christmas last year as I had asked for a digital camera. He bought it from an independant retailer so I am not sure of the price he paid (but I know I d have got it cheaper somewhere else!). At 7.2 MegaPixles I wasn t expecting the best quality images, but it seemed like it would do the job. All I really wanted it for was taking photos of my sons to send/email to relatives etc. The camera does point and shoot photos fairly easily but the problems start when you try to use the more complicated functions. Kodak Easyshare C713 ... am not very technical and certainly not a photo buff but this camera is brillint. If you re after a camera to snap days out etc then this is the one for you. It is very simple to use. If like me you are impatient you don t need to do lots of set-up procedures you can just start, point and click. It can be purchased from £50-£80 so is worth shopping around for the best price. We picked ours up in a sale from tesco for abou £45 about 1 year ago. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX12 ... the bat, this is a great little camera. I ve owned it now for a year and a half and it has travelled with me everywhere and has taken some wonderful pictures (yes that s right, the camera took them, not me!!!). Firstly, it is wonderfully compact and at a reasonable price. It s features are very simple and easy to use. It has the standard wheel to select the mode you want it in and simple navigation buttons on the back. Given it s compact size they have managed to give a generous portion of it to a large enough screen.
