Kodak Easyshare C743 ... camera overall, I believe, is a very good one. Taking into account it s price on the shelves and it s range of advanced features which are so easy to use. for example, it has a videoing feature which allows you to record as well as take pictures. There are also additional features which enhance the quality of the photo depending what sort of photo you are looking to take, for example, if you are at your child s sports day there is an option for action shots, if you re at the beach and the sun is in front of you there is an option to get a good photograph even then. Pentax Optio W20 ... have owned this entry level camera for over a year. It has performed incredibly well and I ve had no problems. Picture quality is a generally good (7 megapixels), there are a large number of different shooting modes underwater, landscape etc. I have put the camera through a lot of punishment taking it whitewater kayaking and it seems to be shockproof to a certain degree. Menus are easy to navigate through and battery life is reasonoble, I would reccomend buying a couple of extra batteries from ebay for longer trips (I did this and found they had longer life than the battery provided with the camera). Nikon Coolpix S7c ... keeping with the simple to use nature of this camera, I ll try and keep this review pretty simple. Having owned this camera for about a year now, I have to say I m very pleased with it! It s travelled with me to Lanzarote, France, Greece, Space Camp, Gozo and many a rainy beach day in Wales, serving me well everytime! This camera is perfect for taking a really quick picture of something that ll still look really nice when you look at it on a larger screen or print it out. Very easy to use, the standard settings are great for taking holiday snapshots or documenting family occasions! The generous 7.1 megapixels are more than enough for those applications.
