The Canon Ixus 110 IS compact digital camera takes wonderful pictures and is full of features. It fits comfortably in the hand and feels robust enough to take anywhere. The automatic shooting mode performs brilliantly, but there is the added option of different shooting modes and customisable settings to satisfy a more experienced photographer. The higher price also means that this camera is not really suitable as a basic point and shoot - and the features would be wasted if this is what you want. The only draw back to the camera is the fiddly dial and buttons - and the menus are not entirely intuitive.
