With 3.2 Megapixels, the superbly styled Digital IXUS 30 is perfect for detailed prints up to A4 size. A new UA (ultra-high refractive index aspherical) lens offers outstanding image fidelity in an incredibly petite form, making this one of the smallest Digital IXUS cameras with a 3x optical zoom.

Make extra-long movies at 30fps VGA (recording of up to 1GB movie files possible), then share the fun with friends as you play clips - complete with sound - on the extra large high-definition 2.0" LCD screen, or by connecting direct to TV. You can even record 60 seconds of fast QVGA action at 60fps for slow motion review.

Digital IXUS 30 possesses Canon's powerful second-generation DIGIC II image processor. It links key camera functions quickly and efficiently to produce superb image clarity, responsive camera control, fast and accurate auto focus, long smooth continuous shooting and quick start-up times. The 9-point AiAF ensures perfectly focused images, even when subjects are not centered in the frame.

iSAPS acts like your own personal photographer's assistant, analyzing the scene before optimizing camera settings to help get the best results from every shooting opportunity. Shoot with confidence and creativity, even in tricky shooting conditions, with six scene modes including Indoor and Night Snapshot.

Printing photos should be as easy as taking them - and it is. Connect your camera to any PictBridge compatible photo printer, push the Print/Share button and within seconds, you'll be holding a full color print - it's that simple. When connected to a Canon SELPHY CP series printer, you can even print handy ID photos.

For some time I have wanted to buy a Digital camera that would be small enough to carry in my pocket and would be easy to use. I already have a canon powershots3 IS and have been really pleased with it. However it s not always convenient to carry around as its quite big and bulky. Having read lots of reviews I decided I really liked the look of the canon Ixus 75. Apart from the glowing reviews I read I was attracted by the large LCD screen and the wealth of functions this camera has. Although it is basically a point and shot camera the Ixus 75 has a lot more to offer! I treated myself to this camera a few months ago so I would have time to practise well before Christmas. ...

I borrowed this camera from a family member and gave it a thorough test over a 4 week period. The Ixus 75 is a 7-megapixel high-spec ultra-compact, featuring an f/2.8 - 4.9 3x zoom lens with a focal length range of 35-105mm, a large 3-in LCD monitor and face detection focusing. With dimensions of 91.6 x 56.8 x 19.6mm and weighing only 130g, this really is an ultra-compact model that will slip nicely into a jacket pocket. shutter and zoom buttons are conveniently located on the top right of the camera which in my opinion is the best place for them, unlike most Nikon, Sony and Fuji Digital cameras which have them in the rear casing and are more difficult to have access to.
