Advantages: Good size

Disadvantages: No case

I brought this digital camera at Xmas last year, and it has not even started to lose it's appeal yet!!

It is a small, asthetically pleasing camera; metallic grey, that comfortably fits into any pocket, and also includes a wrist strap, to ensure it cannot be stolen or lost. It is extremely light

At 4.0 Mega Pixels, there is more than enough picture quality in my opinion to take any picture imaginable, although because of the lens quality and other features available via the menu, it is slightly more expensive than a few other 4.0 MP cameras out there on the market. Memory cards for it are also relatively cheap, when considering the quality of the image being taken.

A simple slide-across button can transport you between take picture/take video/slideshow, and the menu button takes you straight to a main menu including picture settings for example, and even a menu for you adjust items such as a start up picture.

The buttons concerning options such as the flash and zoom are indicated by pictures on the screen, however it may be wise to read the manual, albeit briefly, just to ensure you are aware of what means whats, and avoid confusion and frustration when taking a picture.

The zoom is also as good as any other camera out there in this range, able to zoom up to 11x - and being able to focus on any object from any reasonable distance.

Unfortunately, no case comes with the camera, although it is a hard, aluminium shell that protects it - after nearly 5 months of use, I can see no visible marks on my one, but it would at least give me piece of mind if a case came with it.

Another slight concern, but no trouble to me as of yet, is the A/V port on the side on the camera - its cover is very hard to get loose without feeling that it may snap off. It has so far been durable, but for how much longer?

At this price - approx £170 - 200, you will struggle to come across another camera in today's market, with just high quality, all-round performance as this one - a must have for anyone in need of a digital camera!!

Summary: A great, tidy camera at a very acceptable price
