I recently received this camera for my birthday, and having previously no desire for a digital camera I was pleasantly surprised. This is one of the smallest digital camera’s I have ever seen, and I personally think this is an important aspect in this modern age. One of the things that put me off digital cameras in the past was their bulky characteristics. This is not an issue here, with the Ixus’ pocket size design. The size of this camera has not meant that other qualities of this camera have had to be sacrificed. It has 4.0 mega pixels, which provides an excellent quality in the finished photograph. The camera is very easy to use with a automatic focusing tool, when you depress the ‘take’ button half way, this makes it easy to get professional looking photos. The zoom on the camera is also excellent and provides a good addition to the camera, and the quality of the photo is still present even with the zoom.
The hardware that comes with the camera is also top notch. The battery is excellent, and once fully charged lasts for what seems like days before needing to be recharged (re-charger included). All the necessary cables are included so that you can connect the camera to you’re computer, and transfer your digital photos with ease.
The camera has all the usual things as well, such as a flash, a timer, video, and an excellent screen in which to view your photos. An excellent purchase, you are getting the quality you pay for.
