I have owned the Canon Digital Ixus 80 camera since January this year - I bought it with money from my birthday. Its really good, particually the battery life! I have been to Cuba this year and took around 1000 photos, I only was required to charge up the battery just once on the trip - I was really surprised. I also charged it up over night which meant that I could use it throughout the day, then it would be fine to charge.

I thought that the lead to charge the camera up was quite bulky which was annoying, but overall the charger was light weight, and it helped as not too many extra kilos were added to your luggage. The memory card that is built in is far too small - I would suggest buying (like I did) a 4gb memory card from amazon as it is quite cheap, and you will not regret it! The camera also requires a good case, which was missing.

The actual camera was of really easy to use and focusing quality that suprised me too - good suprise there! I used it with ease, straight out the packet and I am no technical genius.

Summary: Great camera - be sure to buy a memory card too though
