Advantages: small, leighweight
Disadvantages: kscase can become scratched and does show the marks
I bought this after having an earlier version of the Canon Ixus range which i unfortuantly managed to lose and have been using it for around about 6 months.
On initialing looking at the camera you will find it feels very nicely put together and the buttons are laid out to make this camera very easy to use. The screen on the back of the device measures 5 x 4 cm which gives a nice area to review your photos.
The case itself has been subject to a few holidays and has coped very well although as you would expect it does show the scratches, more so on the shiney surface around the lens.
The battery lasts a good time too and on a two week holiday we only have to charge it once.
The camera is 8 Megapixel and i for the price of this camera i have been very pleased with the outcome of the photos. It is a great camera that you can pop in your bag or even pocket and take where ever you go to catch the pictures you want. The camera is also nice and small and doesnt way much at all so as i said before i will easily fit in a coat or trouser pocket.
I would reccomend this camera for ease of use and the fact that you can take it most places with you and it is capable of capturing some great shots. There is also a little hole on the site in which you can attach a strap which allows you to keep hold of the camera nice and safely. We have had no problems with the camera since we bought it.
Summary: A camera worth the money and great for taking everywhere
