Advantages: Pick up and use straight away - no need for manual

I was bought this camera as a present so it wasn't a personal choice. I previously owned a Pentax 5 megapixel camera and was disappointed as a number of tiny screws had worked their way out over the years. Anyway, since this camera wasn't a personal choice it was purchased by a friend who has the previous model and came highly recommended.

Extremely versatile, easy to use - without the need to keep going to the manual and has a snazzy feature whereby you can can view pictures in portrait mode and by simply turning the camera 90 degrees it changes it into landscape mode.

For the more experienced photographer and curious novice there are some great features including one where you can enhance colours - and I've made some arty photos using this technique.

Highly recommend buying this one - you will not be disappointed. Picture quality is excellent and battery life is sufficient for a weeks holiday.
