Okay so there are cameras out there that have way more functions and pixels than the IXUS but none look as good...or arguably are as functional. The old adage form follows functions is true with this camera. It's size is the killer feature but the finish is immaculate - if you have ever closed the door on a Mercedes or Audi car you'll know what I mean...it just has a solid feel about it.
Shop around on the web to get a great deal would be my advice and make sure you get an extra battery as the battery life is it's only failing. Oh, and get a bigger Compact Flash card than the 8mb one supplied :)
