Excellent personal Digital SLR (Canon EOS 350D)
Member Name: bryantma
Advantages: Small, light, reliable and now fairly cheap. Disadvantages: Just small, niggly things.
Small, light and compact, this camera makes for an ideal personal D-SLR. It's an excellent cross over point for those that want more from their camera than a compact can give them, but are not in the market for a professional D-SLR. Mine has seen a lot of use since I first got it and the only complaint that I now have is that the scroll wheel that is used for adjusting the metering and shutter speed has become very stiff. My LCD display has gained a few scratches along the way, so a cover like Nikon provide would be a very useful option. Using the faster CF cards allows for around 20 continious shots before it starts to slow making it excellent for moving targets, especially sporting events. Summary: If you want more control than a compact can give you, this is what you need.
