Canon 1000D Great beginner Camera (Canon EOS 1000D)

Advantages: Easy to use

Disadvantages: error 99 for me

I bought this camera around 6 months ago, and well at first was very impressed with it as it was my first DSLR, its a nice feeling camera is very easy to use i would recommend it for any beginner photographer over the 450D as the 450D comes with IS on the lens and learning how to shoot without is something everyone should be able to do.
the camera does create alot of noise in low light so for users that want to just use AF without playing with around in manual you will get a lot of this.
without the IS photos can come out bad but as i said you do get used to this as most cheaper lenses do not have IS on them.

only bad thing about this camera that i can say is that when i needed it most it did not work, Error 99 when i took it to canon the battery on the inside of the camera was flat. but as said when in Thailand you really just want the camera to work but canon did repair it when i got it to a service center.

and pictures are not always as good as the little screen makes them out to be.
does not support IR remotes like the 450D and the 400D
Not a lot of products out for it like screen protectors so on

All in All its another good camera by cannon but just needs a few things dressed but for a bigger its a great camera and i have taken some killer photos on this and won some competitions. All on the standard lens, so the more you grow with your camera the more you get used to it and once you get used to this camera you can take amazing photos.
