Advantages: superb exposures, easy to use, loads of features

This camera is based on the 10D which is a professional camera. Basically the 10D has been made more affordable by putting it in a hardy plastic case and removing some of the functions. However the 300D STILL DOES EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT.

It has virtually every function of any non-digital camera. You really could not want for more unless you wanted bigger format. The picture quality is superb - as it is the same as the 10D which is relied on by professionals. 6 mega pixels and the camera can handle almost any exposure environment you can throw at it. It is a ground breaking camera which is the first to target the amateur market. Nikon are making a similar one but I can't believe it will be any better. My brother has the camera also and he swears by it.
