A fantastic SLR, easy to use without losing any advance features (Canon EOS 400D)
Member Name: Beckyyy
Advantages: Fantastic picture quality, easy to use, good weight Disadvantages: Extra acessories can be a little pricey My interest in photography started a few years ago, and I decided to invest in an SLR to further my ability! I wanted something that would be simple enough to learn from, but advanced enough to have good features - and this camera is exactly that. I bought a bundle from Jessops, which included the camera body, 18-55mm lens and a camera bag, which was at a really good price, not including the £40 cashback I recived from canon at the time! The auto setting is extremely good at capturing the moment, and does save alot of fiddling around with settings, especially if you're a beginner. The other setting features, are also very helpful, and save you having to refer constantly to the manual if you just want to take a few quick shots. The quality of the photos this camera takes are exceptional, they are crisp, clean and of very high quality. The settings are simple enough to grasp, but still allow you to creat fantastic pictures and capture the moment just how you want to. The other lens available (with a small dent to the bank account) allow you to take a wide range of other photos, which is great if that's what you need, but if this is your first time SLR I wouldn't rush into buying any as the 18-55mm which comes with most is more than enough to get used to at first. I've never had a single problem with this camera and hope to continue using it for many many more photographs! Summary: Overall an absolutely fantastic SLR, highly recommended!
