Fantastic camera, easily used by beginners and almost good enough for professionals! (Canon EOS 450D)

Advantages: Live view and large 3.0" LCD Disadvantages: I am yet to discover any! I purchased the canon eos 450d as a gift for my girlfriend over 12 months ago. She had previously not owned an SLR and after weeks of deliberating i went for this particular model, and oh how glad i was. The key features that lured me in was the live view and the abilty to utilise the hundreds of lenses available. I had previously been into Nikons and own the D60, the 450d is leaps and bounds ahead of this. The sharpness of the image, along with shutter speed and frames per second beats mine hands down. We use the 450 more often than not for still images and have done paid work at family and friends weddings/christenings etc. The quality of the finished image is super and even when the images are printed out onto canvas the 12.2 megapixels from the camera is clear to see. As a camera it is light weight and easy enough to use even for beginners. The models i was deciding between were this and the sony 350, but having seen and read other reviews on that model im so happy i chose this one. I am yet to find a fault with it! Summary: Having researched all the other models on the market for sub £500 Im exstatic i chose this one!
