I've owned this camera for roughly two years now, I originally bought it due to a sheer dislike of Nikon's in general as I found them a little awkward to use. After having a conversation with a friend of the age old argument of Canon Vs. Nikon, i decided to get an averagely priced model to see how it went.

I couldn't have made a better choice. It is a fantastic little piece of kit, that is durable and (to me) light, weighing in at 475 grams. For a mid range camera, I found it also has a surprisingly fast shutter speed at 3.5fps. the only downside to it's shutter speed is it is a little noisy, so should be avoided for those amateur animal photographers out there. the ISO range is limited to six points, ranging from 100 - 1600. The overall layout of it's function buttons and display, I've found, is remarkably well thought out. I haven't found myself stretching, or remarking to myself about something not being right about it.

It's durability is also something i love about it, as I have knocked and banged it about too many times to count, and it still keeps on giving. my only real trouble is, that now I know that I love Canon cameras, I need to upgrade to a more specialised camera body. I will never get rid of this camera though, as it is handy in a moment, and I can quite happily snap away for hours with it.
