I bought this camera on impulse and without having made too much research. I'd had Canon cameras before so knew that the quality would be good and just went with this one as it was in my price range - I was not disappointed!

This is a fantastic camera, it's first big outting was on my holiday to Disneyland in Florida, it's very lightweight and compact so fits in most pockets, small handbags and is relatively robust - it was jostled around quite a lot when I was on rides!

The image quality is fantastic, I would say it's almost as good as my digital SLR camera at times.

There are loads of funky features which you can play around with, but just the automatic setting works wonders and takes great photos at just the click of a button.

My favourite features are movie digest (takes a 4 second video before you snap a photo and links them together to make a day's worth of videos) smart shutter (automatically detects a new face in the shot when on self-shutter mode, so you don't have to all stand there with fixed grins for 10 seconds!), best image selection (automatically selects the best image out of a selection) and underwater mode (when used with a waterproof case takes some great underwater shots).
