nephew and he took on the role of unofficial photographer of our family event and I am so pleased he did. Then, upon arriving home I got out the Canon Powershot S2 IS and had a play .... what fantastic results but when it came to downloading the wedding pics I just about went mad. Time to read the manual. Well they do recommend to read the instructions before setting out on a new appliance, apparatus and of course the same goes for cameras. Actually I found reading the manual a bit difficult in this book but as I got used to the camera the instructions came clearer. The camera comes with programs to use on the computer for example bundled in the pack you get a Canon Powershot program to simply view your photos, and also you get Adobe photo shop which will allow you to edit the photo or touch it up. One problem I found with the camera is the that the automatic mode is set to a default of the bigest pictures possible, you have to go to the manual mode to take smaller pictures but you do not have to change it everytime you use it. All in all a very good digital camera and well worth a look at. ...

new digital camera. I spent quite some time researching the web to find one that I thought I might go for. It turned out to be a choice of the Canon S10 and the Kodak DC480, as they were within my specification and price range. However, when I went to my local PCworld, the S20 was on special offer, and I guess I must have saved over £150 on the list price. I fell in love with the thing very quickly!
