I am not a photographer but I feel like a professional photographer when I'm Taking My Picture To Document Work In Office With the Canon PowerShot A1300 cameraThis camera is perfect as I often travel out of townsmall size and I do not worry about running out of battery because it can easily wherever I amWith 16mp Sensor Picture this I can print the results of a large photoAnd I Also Can Record Video 1280x720p HD video recorder without having to buy anotheroverall highly recommended this camera at an affordable priceand has many outstanding features
I have started in recent months to take an interest in photography and in looking for a decent camera that could take acceptable pictures whilst not being too heavy and bulky and at a price that I could afford, I stumbled across this nifty little camera.
Though receiving, for the most part, fairly mixed reviews, I have actually found this to be a fairly good camera for someone who is not quite a total novice but still a bit of a budding beginner when it comes to the field of photography. Wanting something that could be carried around easily whilst I was out running just in case inspiration caught me (I live near some fens which I often run across when the weather is good), this camera is light, convenient and easy to use with, for the most part, fairly good results.
This cost me around £55 so another factor in buying this was the price! Much as I would like a camera with more features and something that took amazing pictures EVERY time not just ALMOST every time, I just could not justify it with my budget. Still, for what you pay for this, you do get what is essentially a very good little camera that is worth every penny you pay for it!
One of the best features on this camera is the help button which gives you a step-by-step simple run-down on all of the things this camera can do. Of course, that is also what the instruction manual is for but you are hardly going to carry that around and so, when you are on the go, it is good to have something on the camera itself that offers the user advice on how best to use it! I personally have just used this button as a reminder more than anything else for if I ever get stuck whilst on the move.
Another thing on this that I like is that it doesn't use a battery pack but instead just plain, ordinary double AA batteries. This is something that I always have hanging around the house so replacing them is never a problem and you can buy AA batteries by the job load for a minimum amount from Poundland. This is one of the factors that makes this camera not just lighter to carry around but also cheaper to purchase than some of its more expensive competitors and the batteries seem, to have a fairly long-life at least as good as on any other model I have used!
But how well does it shoot? For me, that has to be one of the most important questions?
Well I would say, for the price, that it does an overly competent job! An Optical Viewfinder helps shoot in bright sunlight and the pictures that I have taken have all come out perfectly acceptable to my standards but it is fair to say that I will not be winning any competitions any time soon. This is probably more down to me than the camera though! I have even managed to shoot a bit of video footage on this but be warned, this does use the batteries a lot faster! Still, the video and audio on this is certainly acceptable and though you will not be making any Hollywood blockbuster movies on this, the picture is sharp and clear in clarity!
Overall, this is not a perfect camera by any means, moving photographs do not seem to come out as well as I would've liked, and, in my opinion, probably not for anybody who has an extended knowledge of photography but for the average Joe, I think most people will be pleased with this and the pictures it takes! That said, a quick look on Amazon reveals lots of positive reviews from exactly those who claim to know what they are talking about so maybe this IS a better camera than I give credit! I do know that I am both happy with it and satisfied with the price that I paid and in the end that is all that counts!
