I make it no secret that I adore the Canon range of cameras and I never feel cheated when I'm discovering all the things these cameras can do.
Since I have upgraded to a different model of Powershot this camera does feel different, but I will try to evaluate it best I can.
About two years ago, Argos were offering this product on a special £70 deal. I'm not sure what cost these cameras are now, but I'd imagine it's gone down in price since then. However, I still think £70 is a reasonable price to pay for this camera as it is reliable, easy to use, has brilliant picture quality and is easy to transport around.
It is a simple point and shoot digital camera, with a fixed lens. The picture quality is 6.0 megapixels but as it's a Canon camera I have found the picture quality is superb - colours come out beautifully pronounced and the detail is stunning.
Even using the zoom photos come out very clear and defined. It supports SD memory cards, which can be picked up from Argos, Tesco, ASDA, just about anywhere!
I would recommend this camera to the amateur photographer who doesn't have a fortune to spend on a camera but would want a decent camera that produced beautiful photographs.
