Canon Powershot A720 IS

I have owned this camera for about 6 months now and never ceased to be amazed at its photographic capabilities. Ok its not a speed machine, you could not go to F1 races and expect to capture the action, well, what do you expect for about £130.00. some reviewers on that huge River web-site seem to. If all you are after is chilled day out taking quality photos this is the one to buy. I have taken pictures in low light, never any problems with focus. No problems as yet with camera shake. Canon Powershot A720 IS

after A95, I was expecting lot of progress made in terms of features etc. But looks like Canon is delibarately moving away from compact camera market where it ruled with Powershot series. The camera is bulky without any reason. It doesn t feel very solid and gives flimsy plastic box feeling. It is one of those ugly looking camera in the market. I miss that metal brush finishing and solid feeling of A95 along with the swivel screen. But things are not all that bad.
