Advantages: reliable, lasting, good quality

Disadvantages: soft speaker and short video time

I bought Canon SD 100 4 years back and have been using until now. My first impression was must be very heavy with aluminium casing and it was heavy but i dont mind since i know the features and reliability of this camera.

I have 3.2mp of course very low resolution compare now but i am satisfied with the results and quality once i download or print out. I was particullarly like the off and on of lcd screen it keep your batery longer and zooming way smooth.

My wife use to the max probably out of 12 holiday trips she click 300,000 of pictures. I believe this camera was well spend by her. Until now there are no technical problem, the lcd was perfect no missing pixel and zooming was as good as new.

Drawback was the internal microphone a little soft and 30 sec video wasnt enough for me though i know this was not a video recorder.

I can say old is gold to me. I am confident canon really build to last longer. We tempted to replace this reliable product but i tend to be sentimental.

Summary: I like it very much

Isn't aluminium actually supposed to be light?
