I purchased this camera for use at school as I found a site offering it at what seemed to be a bargain price and boy have I been impressed. The camera rarely leaves my side now and it never fails to impress. I am a great lover of macro photography and the SX10 has shown itself to be an excellent choice for the close up image. The auto settings are excellent handling the majority of shot types with ease. The colour balance is great and it is quick to focus and shoot. The amount of options is pleasing and if I am honest, I have probably not even tried half of the m as this camera just seems to know what to do on auto! The camera only came with a tiny card but a 8 Gb card is not expensive and will hold plenty of shots. Connectivity is good with the included cables and software working well. Battery life would be the one complaint I have, it chews through pairs of AAs like they are going out of fashion, but when you look at the results you can forgive it!

If you are after a super zoom / compact camera then I heartily recommend this one.
